The low-cost carrier sets up its third operating base in Ibiza
The airline offers 76 flights to 53 cities in 10 European countries
Lisbon, 2 April 2012. – Volotea, the low cost-carrier for Europe’s small and mid-sized cities, has launched today its first flight out of Lisbon airport, to Ibiza in the Balearic Islands, starting 16 June.
There will be two weekly flights to the island, every Wednesday and every Saturday (Tuesday and Saturday during the first two weeks of operations).

Lisbon thus becomes the second Volotea destination in Portugal, after Porto, which will be linked to Venice Marco Polo up to three times a week, starting 24 April.

From 29 June
Barcelona-headquartered Volotea will base three Boeing 717 in Venice Marco Polo, from where, starting 5th April, it will operate 24 different routes across Italy and Europe, including Porto.
