To mark
this new and unique service to Berlin-Schönefeld, Faro Airport and the British
airline, who launch their 10th route to/from Faro and simultaneously enter the
German market, welcomed the A319, the crew and passengers with a welcome shower
of the aircraft upon arrival.
The direct
link to Berlin Schönefeld, will operate with 2 weekly flights on Wednesdays and
Saturdays (see schedule below) with an A319 aircraft, representing a total
supply of 6,552 seats and 42 movements this summer.
For Faro
Airport the opening of this route is a very positive sign from the German
market, bringing Faro Airport better connected to another airport in the city
of Berlin and the Algarve region served by a total of 6 weekly direct links.
For
easyJet, which currently flies to major airports, the opening of a route in
Faro strengthens its investment in Faro Airport and the Algarve and its strong
commitment to take passengers to the heart of cities, saving time and the cost
of their journeys.
