Portugal is the first country to host the world tour of Cosmos Discovery, the fabulous exhibition about the discovery of space. It includes more than 200 original artefacts from the US and USSR space missions and from space agencies around the world.
The collection, which already has an itinerary scheduled for several countries in the next 5 years, has landed in Portugal in Terreiro das Missas, near the Belém Estação Fluvial and opened to the public on the last 14th of April. It is a World Crew Events production, the same people who brought Real Bodies to the Cordoaria Nacional in 2015/2016.
The Cosmos Discovery exhibition will be divided into galleries that allow visitors to relive the real stories of the heroes who crossed the frontier to outer space. There are hundreds of items that chart the development of manned space flights, from the very earliest to current missions, and even to those planned for the near future. Between realistic models of rockets and capsules, step-by-step models of space stations and authentic, unique documents.
Every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The interior of the exhibition remains open until 9.30 pm for the last visitors.
