Czech Airlines launched new regular scheduled service between Prague and Lisbon

On the last May 10, 2017, Czech Airlines, flag carrier from Czech Republic, launched operations on the new Prague – Lisbon route, using Airbus A319 OK-PET in the SkyTeam Alliance colours to operate the inaugural flight.

Czech Airlines will offer 4 return flights a week on the route: on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flights between Prague and Lisbon take about 3 hours.

The Prague – Lisbon connection can be combined with another Czech Airlines‘ regular scheduled flight between Prague and Porto. Thanks to that, passengers can plan a comfortable cruise around two largest Portuguese cities and enjoy both of them without the need of returning to the original place of arrival.

Prague has been a very popular destination for the Portuguese market and TAP already operated direct flights from Lisbon Airport, so the connectivity of the airport is now even wider.
For Lisbon Airport this sustainable passenger growth is very important, since the Airport has been working hard to welcome all the new airlines that are now interested in Lisbon, so that the demand keeps on growing and new options also become available for the Portuguese passengers.

A video and photographs from the inaugural flight to/from Lisbon can be viewed on the CzechAirlines' Facebook and Instagram profiles and on YouTube.
