Madeira promoted on Eurosport

With the purpose of promoting Madeira Islands internationally as a tourism destination by excellence of nature and active tourism Madeira Tourism Board conducts once again, until the end of the year, an  advertising campaign on Eurosport - TV channels, Internet and Mobile Phones - reaching almost 26.5 million spectators and users daily.

Madeira Islands is promoting this campaign, in order to captivate active tourism lovers, demonstrating its enormous potential and its excellent conditions for practising open air sports activities surrounded by stunning nature.

In addition to the promotional television spots, there is a detailed microsite on the Madeira Islands, also available on Eurosport.com website where it is possible to access videos and photos regarding a diversity of sporting activities that can be practised in Madeira.

Madeira launches new digital promotional material

The Madeira Tourism Board has recently launched various online leaflets through which Internet users can access more information and promotional details on Madeira Islands, particularly on Trekking, Short Breaks and Gardens.


These new brochures are published in digital format in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French and German, and can be accessed on a platform created for the publication and sharing of documents: http://issuu.com/apmadeirapt

Here, internet users can also find other catalogs, leaflets, guides and tourist information, and also is able to access different links and multimedia contents in real time and at no cost.

Infoboard in Porto Airport

The welcome desk for all arriving passengers in Porto Airport, “Infokiosk”, has now an “Infoboard”. This is an online information system concerning public transports that connect the airport to the region main cities, and is located close to the luggage claim area exit.

With this new system, the airport provides information to its passengers, in real time, about the next public transports departures, namely, buses, metro and shuttle to Porto, Braga, Guimarães and Vigo cities, thus improving their experience while exiting the airport.
