On July 27th, Tomorrowland is coming to Porto, Portugal

The renowned international electronic dance music festival chose the city of Porto for its debut on July 27th. Unite with Tomorrowland takes place on the 15th anniversary of the event and has also as venue Parque Oriental in a celebration on a global scale.

The magical environment, the synchronized special effects and the themed decorations of Tomorrowland land in the next month of July in Campanhã, in an event that will serve as turning point for Parque Oriental to become the stage for major events in the city.
In this new format that aims to unite all the fans of the festival and dance music, called Unite with Tomorrowland, besides Porto, Portugal, also Greece, Malta and Spain are part of the celebration, always with the aesthetics of the original event in Belgium, and featuring some of the artists that make up the line-up of this year's edition.
From late afternoon to early morning, live performances of big names in electronic music and live broadcasts from the main stage of the event taking place in the city of Boom in Antwerp are guaranteed. The line-up will be announced on May 8th.
In Portugal, from Parque Oriental, a strong line-up of national and foreign DJs is guaranteed, along with The Amicorum Spectaculum, a group of performers whose name is based on the theme of the 2017 edition of Tomorrowland.
More than a local event, Unite with Tomorrowland aims to provide a day of sharing of emotions between audiences from different European cities through seamless live satellite connection.
Created in 2005 by the Beers brothers, Tomorrowland is Belgium's biggest music festival and is held every summer in the city of Boom. It will bring together over one thousand artists and an estimated audience of 400 thousand people this year.The event will be co-produced in Portugal by UAU and PEV Entertainment, with the support of Porto City Hall, via PortoLazer. Until April 15th, pre-registrations for the edition of Unite with Tomorrowland in Porto are now open on the official website of the event. Tickets will go on sale starting April 17th.

New route: Direct daily flights between Portugal and Israel by Tap Air Portugal

TAP Air Portugal now offers a daily flight between Lisbon and Tel Aviv, leaving the Portuguese capital at 2:30 pm and arriving in Israel at 9:30 pm. Flights leave Tel Aviv at 5:05 am, arriving in Lisbon at 9 am (local times).

With this new route, TAP can now offer its
Lisbon hub as a preferred connection for flights between the United States, Brazil and Israel, offering an incredibly comfortable and competitive service to these markets.

Laudamotion will fly between Vienna to Porto and Lisbon in October 2019


The former airline owned by the former Formula 1 driver Niki Lauda will start a direct service between Francisco de Sá Carneiro Airport in Porto and  Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon to the Austrian capital, Vienna, where it is based, on October this year.

The flights to Lisbon will start on October 27th, and will have four weekly flights, and to Porto will start on October 28th, and will have two weekly flights. 

Laudamotion's hubs are in Vienna, Düsseldorf and Stuttgart airports, but the airline plans to expand, notably to Cologne, Frankfurt, Munich, Nuremberg and Zurich airports.

ObservaRia : From 11-14 April 2019

From the 11th to the 14th of April 2019, visit the event ObservaRia in Estarreja, a fair dedicated to nature tourism and bird watching.
This international fair, which takes place in the BioRia space, has a vast programme with activities including photography, bird watching, science communication and environmental awareness and education. 
Visitors will find a range of outdoor leisure and educational activities for all ages, including walking, boat trips and use of electric vehicles, tethered balloon flights and various lectures, workshops and seminars delivered by an international panel of speakers and exhibitions and workshops for children.

Until June 24, don´t miss in the Serralves Museum and Park the exhibition "I'm Your Mirror" from Joana Vasconcelos

In Porto, the Serralves Museum and Park host one of the most worldwide renown Portuguese artists: Joana Vasconcelos brings the exhibition "I'm Your Mirror", which can be visited between February 19 and June 24.


This show gathers more than 30 pieces, dating from 1997 until now, covering two decades of artistic practice. It includes many of her best-known works, such as "Cama Valium", "A noiva", "Burka", "Coração independente vermelho", "Marilyn" and "Lilicoptère", as well as new works specially created for this show, like "Finisterra", "I’ll Be Your Mirror" or "Solitário", all of which produced in 2018.

"I'm Your Mirror" stretches from the museum to the gardens of the Serralves Park through monumental outdoor sculptures that promise to amaze all those who pass by!
